Secret Student
Some attentive students!
For the classes, whose teachers wish to take part, Miss G operates the 'Secret Student' scheme. Each lesson she uses her 'random student selector' to select the Secret Student. If the secret student behaves well and works hard throughout the lesson then she informs the class teacher that they have done so. The classroom teacher then rewards the class with a marble in the jar or a point towards whatever whole class reward system they use. 'Why is it called 'Secret Student'?', I hear you ask. Well, it's because the secret student never knows who they are. The best way to ensure that your class wins a marble/point is to behave like you think you are the Secret Student. That way, if it is you, then you can guarantee your contribution to class satisfaction! Of course, the random nature of the generator means that you could be the Secret Student at any time, you may even be the selected several times in a row, or you may never be the Secret Student! Maybe you could work out the probability of you being the Secret Student at least once during the school year.
